广州暨大港澳子弟学校于 2021 年在国内知名“双一流"大学——暨南大学指导下设立，为全国首家港澳子弟学校，秉持暨大本色、湾区底色、港澳特色办学定位，实行学前至高中 15 年一贯制国际化办学，现在广州市拥有海珠保利、天河龙洞、南沙英东三大校区。

Established in 2021 under the guidance of Jinan University—a member of the “Double First-Class”
institution in China—the Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong and Macao Students（Guangzhou） is the nation’s first school dedicated to serving children from Hong Kong and Macao. Upholding the educational philosophy of Jinan University, the spirit of the Greater Bay Area, and the unique characteristics of Hong Kong and Macao, the school operates a 15-year continuous international education program spanning preschool through high school. It currently operates three campuses in Guangzhou: Haizhu Poly, Tianhe Longdong, and Nansha Yingtung.
The ASJ-GZ has achieved remarkable results, having been recognized as a national best practice case for the Pilot Program on Comprehensively Deepening the Innovative Development of Trade in Services, and awarded the Special Prize for Educational Achievements in Guangdong’s Basic Education. It is the only institution in the province to receive a collective commendation for outstanding contributions to basic education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and was the sole basic education school invited to attend the opening ceremony of the 15th Greater Bay Area Games.

Currently, the school’s teaching facilities and grounds have been further optimized and expanded, with the campus covering nearly 6.7 hectares, and all physical and operational conditions have been comprehensively upgraded. The campus’s architecture is modern and elegant. ASJ-GZ has a faculty of nearly 300 teachers across all subjects, with over 80% holding master’s degrees or higher. Mainland of China teachers are primarily graduates of Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Sun Yat-sen University, and South China University of Technology, among others. Hong Kong-based teachers are all graduates of the eight major universities in Hong Kong, and some have graduated from institutions ranked in the top 50 by QS, such as the University of Oxford, the University of California, Los Angeles, the National University of Singapore, and University College London. Over 90% of the faculty have international teaching experience, with an average of 8 years of teaching experience. All teachers have received official training for the DSE and IB programs, including 5 DSE examiners, 1 IB Global Examiner, and 4 IB trainers. The Longdong Campus in Tianhe fully leverages the school’s outstanding faculty resources, strategically deploying teachers to teach on-site to ensure a high-caliber teaching staff and consistent, high-quality instruction.

The Early Childhood and Primary Division at the Tianhe Longdong Campus leverages the strengths of basic education in the Greater Bay Area. Centered on the IB PYP curriculum framework and incorporating high-quality content from the Hong Kong curriculum, we have developed an international growth pathway characterized by inquiry-based learning and focused on cultivating “bilingual and trilingual” literacy. The mathematics and English curricula utilize original, fully English-language textbooks from Hong Kong and overseas, featuring rigorous and standardized content. 天河龙洞校区初中阶段是幼小与高中的关键衔接枢纽，学校深度构建IB MYP+香港课程。通过规范化的学术管理与国际化的素养培育，既扎实筑牢学生学科基础，着力培养适应未来多元升学的综合能力，为顺利迈入 DSE/IB/AP/AL等高阶课程做好全方位准备。
初中部遵循 IB MYP 中学项目全人教育标准，课程覆盖语言与文学、语言习得、数学、科学、个体与社会、艺术、科技与设计、体育与健康八大核心学习领域，全方位对标港澳及国际初高中衔接的学术要求。除中文融合香港和内地中文教材、历史学科使用内地中国历史教材进行探究式学习外，其余学科均采用香港原版全英文教材；数学实行全英班与中教班双轨教学，因材施教，兼顾不同学生的英语水平与学术适配度，同时开设英语、数学培优与基础夯实课程，并开设粤语必修课程，强化两文三语能力。

The middle school program at the Tianhe Longdong Campus serves as a critical bridge between elementary school and high school. The school has thoroughly integrated the IB MYP with the Hong Kong curriculum. Through standardized academic management and the cultivation of international competencies, we not only solidify students’ foundational academic skills but also focus on developing the comprehensive abilities needed to adapt to diverse future educational pathways, ensuring students are fully prepared to transition smoothly into advanced programs such as the DSE, IB, AP, and AL.
The Middle School Division adheres to the holistic education standards of the IB MYP (Middle Years Programme). The curriculum covers eight core learning areas: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Mathematics, Sciences, Individuals and Societies, Arts, Technology and Design, and Physical and Health Education, fully aligning with the academic requirements for the transition from middle school to high school in Hong Kong, Macau, and internationally. With the exception of Chinese—which integrates Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese textbooks—and History, which uses Mainland Chinese history textbooks for inquiry-based learning, all other subjects utilize original Hong Kong-published, fully English-language textbooks; Mathematics is taught through a dual-track system of all-English classes and classes taught by Chinese instructors, allowing for differentiated instruction that accommodates students’ varying English proficiency and academic readiness. Additionally, the school offers advanced and foundational reinforcement courses in English and mathematics, as well as a required Cantonese course to strengthen students’ proficiency in two written languages and three spoken languages.
Grades 7–8 feature an integrated science curriculum delivered through a dual-track system of all-English classes and parallel classes; In Grade 9, students are divided into specialized classes for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, supported by standardized science laboratories to facilitate hands-on inquiry and in-depth learning. The Tianhe Longdong Campus actively organizes student participation in mathematics and science competitions to stimulate academic interest and research enthusiasm, thereby enhancing overall competitiveness. Through ECA (Extracurricular Activities), students are encouraged to explore diverse interests, with abundant opportunities for hands-on technology practice and innovative experiences.
作为广州首屈一指的港式特色国际学校，学校坚持“两文三语”政策，在日常教学和学生活动中，坚持高比例、高质量的英文作为输入和输出语言，为小学至高中有需要的学生提供粤语课程，同时为长期在内地生活的港人子女提供与国内中文教学同步同质的中文母语课程，为部分外籍人员子女提供中文作为第二语言的CSL课程。

As Guangzhou’s premier Hong Kong-style international school, the school adheres to a “two cultures, three languages” policy. In daily instruction and student activities, we maintain a high proportion of high-quality English as the language of input and output. We offer Cantonese courses to students from elementary through high school who require them, while providing Chinese mother-tongue courses of the same quality and curriculum as those taught in mainland of China for the children of Hong Kong residents living long-term on the mainland of China. Additionally, we offer Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) courses for some children of expatriates.
ASJ-GZ offers an English Language Acquisition program with tiered instruction based on students’ English proficiency levels, ensuring they receive optimal support at an appropriate difficulty level. Assessments are conducted each semester, and students are dynamically reassigned to appropriate tiers based on their progress, ensuring fair evaluation and continuous improvement. The school has introduced the KET, PET, FCE, and IELTS exams as milestone assessments of students’ English proficiency and has signed a partnership agreement with Cambridge to host official Cambridge English exams on campus every April and October.

ASJ-GZ’s ECA program is well-developed and creative, consistently embodying the educational philosophy of “student-centered development.” Through diverse course design, it provides every student with a platform to showcase their individuality and potential. Currently, the school offers nearly 200 ECA courses, categorized into teacher-led, partially teacher-led, and student-led options, fully reflecting the agency (voice, choice, and ownership) of students in an IB school. The curriculum spans five core areas: verbal expression, STEM exploration, sports and athletics, artistic creation, and global perspectives.
Student councils have been established in both the elementary and middle school divisions, complete with comprehensive sub-committees that grant students ample autonomy.
